- Working on certifying V2.
- No issues in IFR, SDK and b58g build.
- A P2 bug was opened in publish registry but was lowered to P4 since there is a workaround.
- Paul Davies will not be attending the iTeam meeting since there is a conflict. There will be someone else representing the doc team in future meetings.
- Doc group is incorporating feedback for final publication on docs.sun.com this Friday (September 14).
- Discussed 9.1 UR1 bugs: Internal External
- Kedar suggested creating a page in glassfishwiki site for 9.1 UR1 (AI: Jane will talk to Mark Basler)
- Need someone to represent the admin team in 9.1 UR1 meetings (TBD by Abhijit/Nazrul)
- Engineers, review the bugs that are not targeted for 9.1 UR1 but if you believe that it should, then modify the "Targeted Release" to 9.1ur1, no need to add hook4="91ur1Approved" but discuss the bug with Mark Basler.
- Jane will assign the unassigned bugs to the appropriate engineers.
- Kedar requested everyone to look @ diagnosing GlassFish server performance. Take a look at tools like DTrace, JHAT, JTop, Thread Dumps tools (mentioned in Byron's blog) etc. Kedar shared that many people have noticed delay in admin console when DAS is left untouched. After diagnosing with DTrace, the culprit of the problem was in Jaxta. Jaxta was taking up disk usage every few minutes. Another advice is to look at JavaSE 5.0 troubleshooting guide which contains nicely compiled suggestions on diagnosing server issues.
