Does it mean that the attributes and properties that has name change will be converted to the new name during upgrade process ? |

expose new attributes and attribute name changes GUI will always show the attributes thats in domain.xml , the 'out-of-dated' attribute name should have been taken care of during upgrade, name change is not what GUI should worry |
understood. The intent was that GUI has new config data to set in v3.1 (mapping GUI form data into v3.1 gms config data) The v2 way of setting the gms config data is no longer valid. |

property-modified-to-attribute change Assuming the property is modified to attribute during upgrade, I don't see this being GUI impact. GUI will always show the attributes in domain.xml |

add ability to provide generic cluster properties in glassfish v3.1 admin GUI. In GF v2.1, this capability was not provided and only could introduce cluster properties via asadmin CLI set command. This is not correct. There are GUI pages for setting cluster properties and cluster system properties in v2. |
Understood. The difference between GroupManagementService pane having properties directly on the pane while the cluster general tab did not was what confused me. I should have asked in past how to set cluster properties in gf v2 adminGUI. I now know that there was a Property tab for Cluster that I had overlooked in past. |
