- Jennifer:* After MS4, create a wiki page for old and new M-Bean & dotted names (6 July, 2009).
No update.
Soft Code Freeze August 31, 2009 Rajeshwar is planning a checkin today. The code has been reviewed, and Rajeshwar will incorporate the changes. Prashanth has checked in code to enable monitoring probes to be defined and fired appropriately for EclipseLink. Update by QA, Documentation, and Development Teams
-
- QA Status:* Sankar is testing REST interfaces in JSON and HTML formats, and testing Update Center.
- Docs:* Paul, Dixie, and others working on man pages, will send some for review this week.
- Dev status:* Monitoring is mostly feature complete. Prashanth is fixing bugs and extending the monitoring framework to handle special cases such as JPA and EJB. Some bugs against performance and incorrect behavior (listeners created even when monitoring is turned off) have been filed. Container monitoring is to be implemented as a single interface. The two different dotted name schemes might be a source of confusion for the user. Prashanth is considering adding a list-monitoring-levels command to enable users to determine elements for which monitoring can be enabled. Note that a corresponding command for logging (list-logging-levels) is planned. To be determined: Retention of existing dotted names for backward compatibility. Back-end support for enabling Dtrace through monitoring levels is now provided.
Open Mic/Issue. None this week. Customer Interaction, Arch. Update if Any None this week.
