This page describes some of the work we are doing to provide tooling for SailFin in Eclipse as part of the glassfishplugins project.

New default facet. When you create a dynamic web app project that targets sailfin, there should be a new facet... which will create the WEB-INF/sip.xml, similar to the 'Sun Deployment Descriptors Files' facet.
