Sun Connection is a life cycle management tool that enables you to update and
provision your Solaris and Linux systems from a single console. Starting with GlassFish v2 UR1, you can now register your GlassFish installation and take advantage of Sun Connection's many benefits directly from the Admin Console.

Why should I register my installation with Sun Connection?

Sun Connection essentially provides support at your fingertips.
Registration is completely optional but the benefits are many. As a registered user you receive:

How do I register with Sun Connection?

You can register with Sun Connection at the end of the installation process, or directly from the GlassFish Admin Console as demonstrated in this screencast. Information is also provided in the Admin Console online Help.
