GlassFish Quality Community Awards Program (GQCAP)

This page contains a description of the GQCAP.

Summary

The GlassFish Quality Community Awards Program ("Contest") is designed to encourage and recognize innovation and community participation with GlassFish Quality Community related activities and contributions. Prizes will be awarded to those who submit the best entries as determined by the judges in accordance with the Official Rules.

Here are the steps to participate in the contests:

• To enter, you must be a member of the GlassFish Community. If you are not a member of the GlassFish Community, [ To Join|http://www.java.net/servlets/Join]

• To enter, you must sign the Sun Contributor Agreement SCA

• Follow the GlassFish Quality Community Awards Program Official Rules GQCAP Rules

• Submit your entry by sending email to quality@glassfish.java.net [Mailto]. All Entries must be received between April 15, 2008 at 12:00 A.M. (PST) and August 30, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. (PST).

• This table will list all the submissions received GQCAP Submissions

• Winners will be determined by the judges in accordance with the Official Rules in Spetember 2008.

Program Details

This section describes the structure of the program in more detail.

To enter, you must develop and submit an Entry (referred to as the "Entry") that meets the goals set forth below and complies with the requirements of these Official Rules GQCAP Rules

The Entry must submit an original contribution which helps to enhance or develop the GlassFish Quality Community. Examples of contributions are as follows. Please go to GlassFish Quality Community web site to learn how to contribute (clickhere)

• Develop a set of test cases that follow and use the GlassFish Quality Community Test Framework;
• Execute test cases by following the GlassFish Quality Community Test Execution Instructions, and file bugs found through such execution, and by other testing means.
• Deploy applications and execute them on GlassFish, file bugs found through such execution
• Create Screencasts, write articles, blogs or tips about your experiences with Glassfish Quality.

Awards

A total number of 8 iPod touch (8GB) will be awarded.

A panel of judges will decide the winners in September 2008.
