This page will capture community information about installation of Open MQ.
The last install guide that was produced was for Open MQ 4.4u1.
The following are updates and changes for subsequent community updates.

Installer Package

• 4.4u1 Install Guide

Zip Archive

• Unzip the contents into the directory you want to install Open MQ into.
• Edit the file $TOP/mq/etc/imqenv.conf to set IMQ_DEFAULT_JAVAHOME to your preferred JDK
• To start the broker: $INSTALL/mq/bin/imqbrokerd -tty
• JMS client applications need to include $INSTALL/mq/lib/jms.jar and $INSTALL/mq/lib/imq.jar in the classpath.
