Plug into GlassFish v3 Contest

Program Details

JavaOne 2008 attendees have the opportunity to create a GlassFish v3 Administration Console Plugin for a chance to win a Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera. To participate in this contest, develop a GlassFish v3 Administration Console Plugin and install it at the GlassFish v3 demo machine at JavaOne (Pod #175) – see GlassFish v3 Pod staff for more details. Your plugin will be available for all other attendees to see, and judge. Entries will be judged on quality, complexity, usefulness, and appeal to other GlassFish users. The winner will be announced on Thursday at approximately 3:55PM at the GlassFish v3 Pod (#175).

Getting Started

To get started you can obtain a memory stick (while supplies last) from the GlassFish v3 Pod (#175) which contains the Plug into GlassFish v3 with JavaServer Faces and jMaki Hands-on Lab. This lab is also offered during JavaOne on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30PM, check your Conference Content Catalog. The lab will walk you through the necessary steps to create your own plugin. Feel free to talk to the experts at the GlassFish booth for tips, or email admin@glassfish.java.net.

Timeframe

The contest begins Monday May 5th and ends Thursday at 11:59AM PT on May 8th. You must submit your plugin at the GlassFish v3 booth during this time. Winners will be announced during the JavaOne conference. You do not need to be present to win.
