Following is the discussion summary:

• Clarify major requirements by end Jan'08. Identify the requirements for entire V3 and deliver the implementation in phases.
• Pluggable admin infrastructure needs to be ready by end Jan'08. Develop a proto-type as proof of concept and verify with a module, say web-container.
• Identify the distinguishing themes for the team, for ex. improved monitoring and diagnostics, REST based interfaces.
• This team needs to provide the implementation for CLI and AMEX runtime interfaces.
• Examine the enhancements needed for JSR77 and the possibility of providing monitoring support thru JSR77.
• Identify the dependencies among components and state that appropriately.
• For external tools support and SNMP, take help from ISV Engineering by specifying the requirtements in detail.
• DTrace Probe support can be used to enahance monitoring, especially on Solaris.
• Make sure N1SPS works with V3, test around the time of product release.
• Define and provide the infrastructure for contribution of samples.
