Scripting for v3 Light Planning

v3 Light is being planned for August release. Here is the link to v3 light planning page. Below are the list of things we plan to do:

JRuby/Rails in v3

These tasks apply to Rails application deployment on v3 as well as GlassFish Gem.

• JRuby/Rails start-up time improvement
• JRuby/Rails runtime pooling improvement
• Make Rails container run in OSGi mode
• Add support for Merb

GlassFish Gem

• Add feature to specify port
• Release JRuby/Rails UC2 bundle

Grails

• Release Grails UC2 module with latest bug fixes

Jython/Django

• Quite sketchy, as we need to get stable jython 2.3 trunk and tools.
• Twisted to integrate django with v3

Fix high priority bugs (p1/p2/p3) for all of the above

NetBeans Tooling

• what are NB 6.5 roadmap
• Make Glassfish v3 as deployment container for Rails, Grails, Phobos and Django
