TopLink Essentials

Oracle contributed the initial code that created the Java Persistence API implementation in the GlassFish community. Oracle is also a top contributor to the current code
base; other
contributors include Sun, TmaxSoft.

Like the rest of GlassFish (see GF Principles) TopLink Essentials is intended to be a production-quality implementation and the GlassFish Community will continue to improve it;
roadmap should be posted in the near future.
