Upgrade and Migration

GlassFish (or one of its distributions, like Sun Java System Application Server 9.x) are compatilble Java EE 5 application servers that implement the Java EE 5 specifications. The Migration and Upgrade program provides tools, support and services for migrating your existing J2EE 1.x application to GlassFish.

Steps needed to migrate your applications

• Download GlassFish
• Download the migration tool
• The Migration User Guide describes how to install the tool, how to run it to migrate your application and any limitations of the tool.
