Sun Glassfish Virtual Machines

I am currently working on building 2 xVM VirtualBox virtual machines one focused on OpenSolaris (with a focus on developer evaluations) and one on Solaris 10 (with a focus on sys admins and app architects evaluations) that can be used by the community for evaluation as a quick start sandbox with Glassfish tutorials and sample applications.

I will be updating the sister site Virtual Appliances with content such as

• guide for installing and configuring an OpenSolaris guest in VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation
• guide for installing and configuring a "Super SAMP" guest in VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation

I will focus on creating Glassfish specific content here such as

• beginners guide for installing and configuring Glassfish, Apache Web, MySQL and PHP
• installing and configuring demo applications in Glassfish
