      2. Status of Glass Fish v3 User Task Analyses - Paul

  • Paul: We're making good progress. Two more were completed this week. The meetings have gone well so far.
  • June: App Mgmt TA meeting on 2/27 was short. After the few App Mgmt tasks were determined, Anissa said deployment needed to be put in a broader context of a series of tasks before and after.
  • Paul: Should different lengths of time be allotted for different topics? Should task gathering and sorting be handled in separate meetings?
  • June: Dixie and June suggest that task sorting could be handled through the wiki after task gathering without a second meeting.
  • Paul: HK2 is a back-end topic not relevant to users, so no TA meeting is needed. Update Center is not ready to be discussed yet.
  • June: In the process of setting up a persistence TA meeting, June learned to explain TA better.

  • Paul: March 28 is HCF for TP2, OLH and man pages due. Paul is figuring out how to best do this.
  • Paul: Which base should be used for GFv3 doc workspace?
  • June: For GFv3 workspace, best to use 9.1.1/Comms base because GFv3 will have Comms version. However, for RN, use 9.1 UR1 version because it has been updated and corrected most recently.
