Meeting Notes 1. Review of AIs
- Paul: Investigate what the complete and definitive list of add-on components available for v3 Prelude update tool is going to be and update the doc plan accordingly to indicate the doc requirements for each add-on component. Done. This information is available in the GlassFish v3 Prelude feature list. To find the list of add-on components, scroll down to the section of the table entitled Update Center Content. A link to the v3 Prelude feature list has been added to the Engineering Information section of the documentation plan.
- Paul: Determine the correct terminology for add-on components. Not started.

- Nothing new to report - we're beyond this phase for Prelude.

3. Status of deliverables
- Release Notes - SueAnn: Finishing up the review copy.
- Quick Start Guide book and HTML - SueAnn: Done for Prelude. Sent that off for bundled docs; collecting any comments that come in for future updates.
- Quick Start Guide screencast - SueAnn: Nothing new to report.
- Administration Guide - Dixie: Just got monitoring-focused content off to reviewers; swamped.
- Developer's Guide - June: Done; making minor fixes.
- Application Deployment Guide - June: Done; making minor fixes.
- Administration Reference - June: Done; making minor fixes
- Man Pages - Paul: Done. Got late-breaking changes on Monday, which he didn't incorporate. Paul will collect info about minor typos and modify the source.
- RESTful Web Services Developer's Guide - Debbie: Working on it; will be done in time for the review on Monday. Paul: Review starts Monday, but to make sure the doc gets into the IPS package your changes need to be put back into the workspace by Friday afternoon. UPDATE from Ian: Deadline for putbacks for IPS packages is now Monday, October 6th at 12:00 PM PDT.
- jMaki Application Developer's Guide - Devika: No update.
- JRuby Application Developer's Guide - Devika: No update.
- Admin GUI Console Online Help - Paul: Done and delivered for Prelude.
- Bundled HTML Pages - Paul: Might need to make a few other changes, figure out how to handle those now that the workspace is frozen.
- Installation Guide - SueAnn: Working on this.
- GlassFish User FAQ - Gail: Nothing new to report.
- GlassFish Developer FAQ - Gail: Nothing new to report.
- Welcome Page - Gail: Nothing new to report.
Paul: Sent mail to aliases alerting them to the final review; by Friday afternoon attach the latest PDF for your book(s) to the doc comment wiki page, update that page if necessary, make sure changes are checked in and put back to the workspace. UPDATE from Ian: Deadline for putbacks for IPS packages is now Monday, October 6th at 12:00 PM PDT. June: Has list of modules; different from what Paul pointed to. AI - June and Paul: June to send her list to Paul; Paul to follow-up with Abhijit.
\ 4. Doc Bugs
- Make sure we're on top of the unbundled doc bugs; look at list of bugs and stay on top of it; let Paul know if you'll have trouble fixing those.
- Many bugs for the unbundled docs are against the release notes.
- Expect bug count to rise as we get closer to the ship date and engineering bugs become doc bugs.
- Discussion about 5190. Requestor wants us to go through all of our books and where we reference a CLI command in the GUI add a pointer to the reference manual/page in which this is discussed. This is very open-ended and is probably an RFE, but don't want to mark it as such and then lose track of this. AI - All book owners: Look at 5190 and let Paul know one of three things: 1) No, this doesn't affect my book; 2) Yes, it does and I can fix this by Prelude; 3) Yes, it does, but I can't fix this by Prelude.
