Minutes

1. Review of AIs:
   • • Paul:* Cross-check the v3 list of functional specifications against the list of features in the v2 documentation.
       In progress, expected to be done by May 11. Paul is compiling a list of v2 features whose status with respect to v3 is uncertain.
     • All by April 9* Send Paul the list of features you have questions about for EA (in or out?) and also v3 Final (in or out?).Complete.
     • Paul:* Verify EOL process for features that are marked as "Never".
       In progress. Paul will follow up with Abhijit at the same time he asks about the previous AI.
       In progress, expected to be done by May 11.
     • June, Devika, and others:*Determine whether to inlcude jMaki in the single document about scripting into a single document and send the details to Paul.
       Complete: Documentation for jMaki will not be included.
     • Paul:* Update pubstool registration for Domain File Format Reference.
       Complete.
     • Paul:* Look at the man pages to see what properties are already doc'd there.
       Not started.
     • Paul:* Look into whether there will be an Upgrade Guide for v3 Preview.
       Complete: Chinmayee has confirmed that the will be no Upgrade Guide for v3 Preview.
     • Paul:* Update doc plan to reflect which documents are in EA.
       Complete.
2. Progress on writing assignments
   • • Man Pages, bundled Quick Start Guide, othe HTML pages:*Complete for v3 Preview
     • Administration Guide:*
     • Focused reviews on 3 chapters sent to relevant SMEs
     • Complete draft for review expected May 18
     • Online Help and Inline Help:*
     • All changes for v3 Preview are checked in.
     • Reviews are to be conduted between now and FCS.
     • Help from the Grizzly team is required for the Administration Console and the online help.
     • The doc plan has been updated to reflect the changes made.
     • Java EE 6 Tutorial:*
     • Progress is slow and steady.
     • Some issues related to NetBeans remain outstanding.
     • Web engineering requests are pending.
     • First Cup Tutorial:*
     • Every time something is fixed,something else breaks.
     • Eric will fix errors with Facelets and JSF.
     • The build 47 version of the tutorial does not work with NetBeans.
     • Message Queue:* Versions of the documentation for Message Queue 4.4 will be available fior v3 Preview.
3. Bug status
   No updates this week.
4. Community doc reviews
   To enable the FishCat community to review the documentations:
   • Use the documentation comments wiki.
   • Include the quality community in the distribution request.
   • Be willing to accept feedback in the form of Issue Tracker issues.
5. Open mic
   The generic JMS resource adapter will not be merged with the resource adapter from Open MQ by v3. The merge is planned for v3.1.
